Participation, one of the Child Rights, is integral to the spirit of PARA. Oota-Wellsprings
initiated a pilot programme of Participatory Action Research (PAR) in September 2013. This
was adopted as a specific project of the National DB YaR forum. PARA, through ECH and
HRE, was a part of the project from the beginning. In May 2017 Now PAR office has been
shifted to PARA premises. This is a challenge to initiate participatory processes, especially
in decision making, and thereby usher in the larger goal of social and human equality, in life
and relationships, the ultimate goal of PARA.
