Gender activities initially led to the formation of MACS on 12 April 2000. This was meant to
be the economic component of the agricultural labourers’ movement that came to be known
as Dalit Bahujan Shramik Union. Now there are two MACS, one at Kothapeta and the other
at Ravulapalem. These two MACS have joined a network of MACS that are being organised
by BSK, Development Office of Hyderabad Province.
