Through the Bahujan Desk PARA supports people with difficulties regarding minimum wages, land, atrocities, conflicts, employment, discrimination, natural calamities and so on. They visit the spot and meet the people concerned to come to an amicable solution. Where necessary, they form a team to do fact finding. In general, the people are guided to take the necessary action, including legal remedies, with the support of civil society groups. Efforts are on to consolidate the committees in villages and mandals to enable them to form unions and sort out their own problems. PARA premises are available for people to come and hold dialogue to resolve issues.
